Operations Manager
The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of YWCA Kitsap County administrative offices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists program managers on the appropriate application of agency policies and procedures, and employment issues; maintains and updates all related process maps and workflows; ensures a regular review for process improvement strategies.
Manages recruitment function in coordination with program managers including posting and advertising open positions, reference checking, interviews, coordinating job offers, and background checks; maintains various recruitment-related platforms, website, and social media.
Develop and manage onboarding processes for new employees and volunteers, ensuring completion of orientation, compliance documentation, training programs, and access to tools and systems while fostering engagement with the organization's mission and values.
Oversee coordination and administration of contracts and contractors, including tracking deliverables, timelines, and compliance requirements, and partnering with the Finance Manager to ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable.
Supervises telephone, computer network and software applications in concert with I.T. vendor and within budget parameters; supports staff with I.T. and communications work orders and performs troubleshooting and fixes for these systems.
Works with the Chief Executive Office and Grant Manager for the successful completion of fund development activities, including but not limited to special events and annual campaigns.
Supervises reception desk, maintenance staff, and contractors for operating and office systems and activities; supervises volunteers for administrative-related projects and events.
Oversees facility maintenance and repairs, janitorial work, ground maintenance, and other related activities.
Maintains the highest level of confidentiality and protection of employees, the organization, and client-related data and information.
Maintains confidentiality of communication and records in accordance with State and Federal laws.
Other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer and in support of the mission and vision of the organization.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position supervises Community Resource Advocate, Receptionist, maintenance staff, and volunteers.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in business or related field from an accredited four-year college or university or four years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; preferred experience within the nonprofit industry sector, and any combination of leadership, supervisory, training and/or mentoring.

Shelter Lead
Shelter Manager

Responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of YWCA ALIVE Emergency Shelter and 24-hour crisis line services. Serves as team lead of the shelter advocates, volunteers and interns to ensure that clients' and crisis line advocacy needs are identified, prioritized, and appropriate referrals for other resources are made.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Mentor other shelter advocates, and related volunteers and interns.
Ensure the implementation of shelter program policies and procedures
Responsible for the collection and data entry of all shelter client and crisis line data
Ensure that program goals, outcomes and deliverables are met
Coordinate with other shelter staff to produce the monthly staff schedule; provide emergency coverage of uncovered shifts as necessary
Maintain certification as an Address-Confidentiality Program Assistant.
Represent YWCA Kitsap County in community related efforts to improve the community's response to domestic violence and victims' needs
Coordinate with other staff to plan and facilitate domestic violence advocacy trainings
Is a team lead for the ALIVE Shelter, and attend and participate in weekly and monthly team meetings; actively participate in strategic decision making, budget planning and management, and long-term sustainability efforts
Perform other duties as assigned in support of the organization's mission and programs
OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability and willingness to work with survivors of trauma, domestic violence, and sexual assault
Ability to lead and mentor a team
Ability to read, analyze, and comprehend simple legal documents and supporting documentation, court regulations, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Excellent computer skills
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from members of the court, law enforcement community, clients, and the public.
Ability to effectively deal with crisis situations and apply agency policies and procedures to varied situations
Commitment to YWCA vision, mission and value; and to work effectively with diverse people.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has lead and support responsibilities for shelter advocates, related volunteers, and interns under the direction of the Shelter Manager.
REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two to three years of experience providing advocacy to victims of domestic violence within a domestic violence program; and
Three years of practical experience in the provision of shelter and housing services; and
A minimum of 30 hours of training on domestic violence issues and advocacy within three years prior to being hired as a supervisor.
YWCA supervisors must maintain a minimum of 30 hours continuing education victim services training and 5 hours of leadership/supervisor training, annually.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Acceptable State Patrol Criminal History Record
Must have the ability to transport self in and around Kitsap County, if that includes driving your own vehicle then must possess current and valid Washington State Driver's license as well as vehicle insurance per Washington State Law.
CPR & First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment).
